Fox In Socks, Green Eggs and Ham, The Cat in the Hat.....
We've been talking about Dr. Seuss this week and getting ready for his birthday next week!
In conjunction to his great stories, it has been a great opportunity to start learning about rhyming words and patterns. We've had fun making Cat in the Hat hats and drawing pictures of having fun with him in our own homes!
Chapel and devotion have focused on love. We have also continued to talk about miracles.
The children are enjoying new fun in centers with some new things...building in our workshop, cooking with new dishes, lacing and sewing, and much more!
Have a GREAT week!

Love is in the air!
We had a great Valentine's Week! The week was full of love - we painted bug hearts using golf balls, and made heart mobiles with the names of those we love. Our focus at Chapel for the month is God's love.
The Valentine's Party was a big hit! Thanks to everyone that helped put it together!
In PE, we've been working on soccer and kicking skills. In music, the children have learned songs about fishing with Peter, James, and John. Our daily devotions have focused on miracles.
Remember, NO SCHOOL tomorrow of Monday! Have a great, LONG weekend, and we will see you on Tuesday!

Happy New Year!
Welcome back! I hope you all had a great Christmas and a very Happy New Year! All the kids were so excited to share their holiday activities (and new toys) with us on Tuesday!
This week we focused on getting back into our routines in the classroom. We also began introducing our next unit, winter and hibernation! This is a very fun unit that will end with Hibernation Day on the 20th! During centers, i worked on our K3 assessments to get ready for our conferences next week. Also, this week we made cards and decorations to welcome Mrs. McCormack back to school. We have all missed her and can't wait to see her very soon!
Earlier this week, you all should have received your scheduled conference time for Friday (January 13th). I have heard from some of you already, but if you have any conflicts please just let me know so we can reschedule as soon as possible.
